The Return of a Prodigal Blogger
I really can't believe that almost 2 years have passed since I last posted to this blog. To think that it was my first and only post...
Did I lose interest? Did I believe then that it was a waste of time posting one's views for the public to read? Or I was just to busy managing my email
newsletters and being a full-time wife and mother at the same time.
Oh, am I kidding myself...justifying my loss of interest? Whatever it is, I can say that I'm back. (back with a vengeance and with ulterior motives...hehehe.)
To continue...
Blogging has taken off and made millionaires out of some teen-age bloggers. You read that right! Teen millionaires. How did they do it? And why they are the envy of older folks (like me).
Want to know their secret I'm sure. Actually no secret there. These young people found their passion and wrote about it passionately. And you know kids...they can be so focused when they love what they're doing. Of course, they placed their Adsense ads on their blogs...never expecting to earn top dollar when they did it. I'm sure they were ecstatic when they opened their Google Adsense account and discovered the millions there.
What about us older folks? Do we still have that passion and will to duplicate what these young folks did? Let's do it then. Let's think and feel young. Nearing retirement age, looking forward to a life lived on ones pension check isn't a life we would like to live. Not in today's inflationary cost-of-living.
I'll be talking more about these in the following days. So be back here often.
